I’m so excited spring is just around the corner!

Enough of the cold weather, I’m ready for spring!

One of the holidays/events held in March is St. Patrick’s Day.

On March 17th, people around the world celebrate the patron saint of Ireland.

Most people who celebrate St. Patrick’s Day wear green items.  Symbols include the shamrock, leprechaun, and a pot of gold.

Also, adults can enjoy drinks (especially Guiness beer) and kids can go crazy on sweets ＾＾

 

 

もうすぐ春が来そうですね！

だんだん暖かくなってきたらお出かけや、新しいことに挑戦するチャンスが増えてくる♪

3月のイベントの中で有名なのが3月17日にあるSt. Patrick’s Day、聖パトリックの祝日というアイルランドの祝日です。

海外ではキリスト教でなくてもこの日を祝うところが多いです＾＾

ハロウィンやクリスマスと同じ感覚ですね。

この日には、ほとんどの人が緑色のアイテムを身につけ、大人は飲みに出たり（ギネスビールがもっとも売れる＾＾）、子供たちはお菓子を好きなだけ食べられます＾＾

他にはシンボルマークとしてクローバーやレプラカーン(小さなおじさんの妖精）、大金が入ったポットがあります。

日本でもSt. Patrick’s Day楽しんでみたいなぁ☆
