Practicing listening to “r”s and “l”s
Recently, I’ve been practicing listening and pronouncing “r”s and “l”s in my class.
Some of my students have a difficult time telling apart the ‘r’ and ‘l’ sounds, because they’re not used to hearing it.
For example: coRRect and coLLect, pRay and pLay seem to be the most difficult ones.
Even a 5 minute practice can be useful!
Rice(米)とLice(シラミ)など・・・シラミは食べたくないですよね;
