I went to see a musical at Bocchan Theater called Yorokobinouta.

It was a love story between a German gentleman and a Japanese lady during the war.

The theme was quite interesting as it portrayed different customs of each country, which I also try to understand when teaching my classes^^

There were several points where I almost cried.  I was also touched by the voices of the actors and actresses, especially when they were singing.

Definitely worth watching if anyone is interested.

Go Bocchan Theater!!

 

 

先日、愛媛が誇る坊ちゃん劇場に、ミュージカル「よろこびのうた」を観にいきました。

10年以上ぶりのミュージカルには感動しました！

特にテーマが異文化を分かち合うドイツ人男性と日本人女性のお話でしたので、心に沁みるものがありました。

お話と役者さんの歌声に何回か涙が出そうになってはこらえて・・・最近、涙もろくなってきました笑

英語では涙もろいことをsentimentalといいます。

まだ観たことない方にはオススメです！！
